FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises simultaneous machining of bearing pin and oil-deflector flange. For this, disk external cutter one part furnished with several cutting plates is used, and second part is used to hob oil-reflecting ledge arranged nearby crankshaft rod pin. Efficient cutting depth of every cutting plate is constricted by preset maximum magnitude and selected depending upon actual size of said oil-reflecting ledge. Proposed device comprises disk external cutter with cutting plates locked tangentially and at the front edges and allows adjusting angle of attack of cutting plates locked at front edges.
EFFECT: tool longer life, reduced costs and angle of attack of cutting plates.
