METHOD OF CARDIOVASCULAR RISK EVALUATION IN PATIENTS WITH ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A61B5/02

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, cardiology. In the patients with arterial hypertension, regression models of a cardiovascular risk are constructed. Unmodified and modified risk factors are considered, including: age, pulse pressure, pulse wave velocity. It is followed with evaluating a factor characterising blood viscosity and vascular viscoelastic behavior by an original mathematical formula considering a maximum module of a spectral component in pulse wave train i-th harmonics of distal and proximal sensors, a factor characterising a portion of pulse wave power in the i-th train of the distal sensor and a distance between the sensors.

EFFECT: method provides a noninvasive analysis of the cardiovascular status and can be used in correcting an antihypertensive therapy.
