FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents an evaporating device used in the thermal processes. Purpose: extraction of chemical substances in liquid or solid state from a solution by removal of liquid solvent as the vapor during its boiling. The evaporating device includes: a vertical cylindrical vessel consisting of the body and a detachable cover. On the cylindrical surface of the upper part of the vertical vessel there are two diametrically opposite branch-pipes for vapor-gas mixture, that are linked by a pipeline in the closed circuit through a heat exchanger, that has a condensate collector. For heating the vessel to high temperature and transfer of the heat through the wall of the vessel it is placed in the chamber of the electric heating device made of the tubular electric heaters, that allow to carry out the process of evaporation of the solution under a high pressure and at the temperature significantly exceeding the temperature of boiling of the liquid solvent under the atmospheric pressure. The invention may be used for evaporation of solutions of chemical substances at the high values of pressure and temperature in chemical industry, in hydrometallurgy of non-ferrous and rare-earth metals and other industries. EFFECT: the invention allows to produce non-ferrous and rare-earth metals by evaporation of their chemical solutions. 2 dwg
