FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Spatula contains handle and working part in form of loop. Loop of working part is made from sheet strip and has chink in place of fixation to handle extension. Chink is made with possibility of fixation of epinucleus and lens mass of soft nucleus in case of bringing them into pupil area for further aspiration.
EFFECT: application of claimed spatula makes it possible to increase efficiency of epinucleus and soft nucleus ablation when performing cataract phacoemulsification.
