FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to integrated treatment of waste water. The method involves bringing contaminated water into contact with a carbon-mineral sorbent obtained through carbonisation of sapropel in an inert medium at temperature higher than 700 to 800°C. The sapropel used has mineral substance concentration of 54-85 wt %. During sorption of heavy metals, pH is kept equal to 4-5.
EFFECT: invention enables to carry out integrated treatment of multi-component waste water.
