FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: processed surface is cleaned to complete removal of relief residues and is polished. Metal from electrolyte is electrically settled directly on polished surface using it as a substrate. In a treated part there occurs stress field as result of deformation of metal while making a relief. Due to a relief shape memory effect metal from electrolyte is settled selectively repeating the shape of a source relief.
EFFECT: decreased labour input at recovery of relief; recovery of relief with unknown configuration and dimensions.
