SUBSTANCE: invention relates to light industry, namely, to furniture production, and may be used to manufacture soft furniture of transformable design - sofa beds and convertible armchairs. Device to adjust position of soft furniture back, mostly in a sofa, comprises a traction rod with stop hingedly fixed to back wall of sofa back and to back wall of sofa body with the possibility to interact with one its end to back surface of back when it is in inclined position. Stop is arranged between hinged joints of traction rod fixation and is rigidly connected to traction rod with the possibility of interaction with back wall of sofa body, when back is in inclined position. Hinged joint of traction rod fixation to back is located above hinged joint of traction rod fixation to body.

EFFECT: simplified design of device for adjustment of soft furniture back position and improved convenience of operation.
