FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry and may be used to generate hydrogen gas from water. First version of proposed plant comprises graphite crucible 1 containing melted slag, reaction cap 2 arranged above said crucible, water line to spray water on melted slag in crucible 1, steel tube 4 to bleed hydrogen from said cap 2 and to transfer it into condenser tank 7. Note here that bled hydrogen is forced into gas collector 11 via, at least, one control valve 9, 10. Second version of proposed plant comprises sprayer of flux containing carbon material, moving reaction cap 2 connected to chain hoist. Note here that moving cap 2 can be detached at slag pit. It comprises also line to feed water for spraying on slag. In compliance with this version, hydrogen gas is forced via gas valve 6 into collector-condenser 7, wherefrom it is directed into collector 11.
EFFECT: higher efficiency due to used of wastes.
