FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used for providing access to delicate tissue, such as brain tissue of mammalian gland tissue through skin cut with various purposes, such as access to place of surgical interference for creation of working canal for access to delicate tissues with surgical instruments, providing access for introduction of inflatable prosthesis or for providing an external canal to support tissue. Block of surgical instrument includes combination of put one into another through tubular hollow retractor and wedge-shaped guide with narrowing end. Wedge-shaped guide is introduced into the area bordering with hollow sleeve. The distal end of wedge-shaped guide protrudes behind the distal end of hollow retractor.
EFFECT: hollow guide passes through delicate tissues forward beyond the distal end of hollow retractor, guiding hollow retractor into desired position in delicate tissue.
