FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed device comprises metal mould made up of two pairs of L- and B-long walls, L-to-B ratio making 3-7, and metal mould split mechanism. L-long mould walls represent heat tubes with heating and cooling zones. Mould houses heat tube made up of manifold with heating and cooling zones. Mould walls accommodate thermocouples connected device ACS. Heat pipe is arranged inside metal mould with the help of tube drive. After walls heating and metal pouring into metal mould, heat tube inner space is cooled.
EFFECT: higher process efficiency and quality of square-section castings.
