FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Metal mould is made up of heat tube with heating and cooling zones. Filling core if placed into mould to be heated to t1=(1.1-1.5)tboil, where tboil is boiling point of heat carrier in metal mould. Melt is poured in. With metal mould temperature reaching t2=(1.15-125)tboil, mould is subjected to forced cooling. In filling zinc alloys, dauter heat carrier is used with boiling point of 300°C.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cooling, uniform structure of metal in moulded protector.
