FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed machine comprises chill mould, bed, chill mould parting mechanism, heat tube with heating and cooling zone, jacket arranged in heat tube cooling zone, heat tube drive and thermocouple with ACS. Tubes with stopped bottom ends are fitted into jacket bottom and furnished openings made at their lateral surfaces to face said heat tube. Openings on one of the tubes are shifted in height by distance L/2 with respect to holes in another tube, where L is distance between holes in tube. Diameter d0 of holes in diameter d1 tubes, number n of holes, distance L between tubes, tube length L0 and diameter D of tube in cooling zone are related as follows: d1/D=0.2-0.5, d0/d1=0.02-0.05 and n=L0/L=3-12.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and casting quality.
