FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: fuel combustion method by means of pre-combustion of its part in flow of primary air in chamber of intermittent combustion, mixing of obtained combustion products with the rest fuel and supply of obtained mixture, as well as secondary air to furnace to be afterburnt. Mixture and some portion of secondary air to furnace is supplied coaxially in the form of tangential jets in intermittent mode, and the rest portion of secondary air is supplied in the centre along the furnace axis. Mixture and some portion of secondary air is supplied to furnace coaxially in the form of tangential jets in the ratio equal to air excess coefficient which is less than value of 1, and incomplete combustion products exiting the furnace are afterburnt in intermittent air flow formed with injection of high-heated gases. Mass flow rate of mixture and some portion of primary air in central axial channel (branch pipe) connecting the main casing to furnace is controlled with valve gate (throttle) in manual or automatic modes.

EFFECT: invention allows improving reliability, efficiency and economy of operation of furnace, increasing completeness and ecofriendliness of fuel combustion.
