SUBSTANCE: air electrode for a chemical current source has a protective hydrophobic layer made from hydrophobisated acetylene black, an active layer, where the composition of the layer additionally includes products of condensation of ethylene diamine and formaldehyde, cobalt acetate on a carbon matrix as an oxygen reduction electrocatalyst, in amount of 10% of the volume of the active mass.
EFFECT: high stable electrical characteristics.
