FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a gas chromatography method for determining parathion-methyl (metaphos) in soil, where the extraction agent used is o-xylene, which is added in amount of 20 ml to a 10 g weighed portion of air dry soil in a conical flask, stirred for 30 minutes and then centrifuged for 5 minutes at 5000 rpm. 2 mcl of the extract is collected and put into the chromatograph.
EFFECT: high accuracy and selectivity of determining parathion-methyl with simplification of sample preparation and cutting analysis time.
