FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: first, the flat surface together with the objects in a colour picture with jpg file extension and resolution of not less than 600 dpi per inch undergoes computer processing. After obtaining three matrices of components of this surface on colours, the matrix of the component of one colour is selected and one object in form of a matrix is selected in that same colour. Further, the average brightness of the selected colour and area of the object in pixels are calculated. Total area of all objects on the flat surface is then determined by adding all values of the matrices of components of one colour in pixels in the interval from 0 to the average brightness of the object, after division by the area of one object of which their total number is obtained.
EFFECT: high accuracy of identification and broader processing capabilities.
