FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a light-emitting device (30) having at least a first (10) and a second (20) light-emitting element, wherein the first light-emitting element (10) emits first light (1), and the second light-emitting element (20) emits second light (2). Each light-emitting element (10, 20) is an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) (10, 20). The OLED (10, 20) has a multilayer structure with a substrate (14, 24), first (11, 21) and second (12, 22) electrodes and an organic layer (13, 23) between the first (11, 21) and second (12, 22) electrodes. The light-emitting device (30) emits light (3), wherein at least part of the said light (3) is provided by superposing first (1) and second (2) light. According to the invention, opposite substrates (14, 24) are distance D from each other, where 1.5 mcm ≤ D ≤ 150 mcm, preferably 5 mcm ≤ D ≤ 100 mcm, and more preferably 10 mcm ≤ D ≤ 50 mcm.
EFFECT: invention provides a light-emitting device with a compact and simple design, where the colour of the light generated by this device can be easily changed.
