FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric charge machining of complex-profile articles, for example, male and female die tooling, master cams, templates, punchers etc., from whatever current conducting materials. Proposed method comprises shaping preset surface at electric charge cutout machine tool with PNC in coordinated coordinate motion of wire electrode tool along trajectory generated by control program. Electric charge machining by wire electrode tool is performed at two settings, A and B. Note here that, at setting A, trajectory set by control program allows shaping preset lateral surface of article, while, at setting B, after rearranging article onto opposite mounting surface, it allows re-processing of pre-shaped lateral surface along the same trajectory but in opposite direction.
EFFECT: preset precision or electric charge machining.
