FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to turbine production and may be used in production of gas turbine hollow vane. Proposed method comprises producing groove vane side to receive cover, fitting cover in said groove and welding. Prior to welding, vane side and cover are heated in vacuum by laser beam scanning. Heating is performed with preset temperature field distribution at elasticity within limits of welded metal elasticity limits. Joint zone heating temperature distribution is controlled by remote means using infra-red imaging. Electron beam scanning field width toward each side of vane side and cover joint line is related to groove recess, at least, as 4:1.
EFFECT: longer life due to higher fatigue strength.
