FIELD: railroad engineering.
SUBSTANCE: milling device with tool holders is designed to form a circle, contains an adjustable contour angle, disk-shaped base (1), seats on the disk-shaped base located outside the circle the disk-shaped base (1), and removable milling units (2) with tool holders arranged in a circle and evenly distributed along the circumferential direction on the seats on the disc-shaped base. These removable milling units (2) are connected to seats on the disk-shaped base by means of contour angle adjustment mechanism (3). It is possible to adjust a damaged cutting edge or remove and install it for maintenance of cutters.
EFFECT: forming cutters with different numbers of inserts can be arranged on the tool holder according to the contour requirements, which enables contouring of various metal workpieces and improves wheel-rail contact.
