FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. The composition for preparation of biologically active food additive contains wt %: cedar sap - 0.1-15.0, the rest is oily base. The oily base may be represented by cedar nut oil and/or linseed oil and/or a sea-buckthorn fruits oil concentrate in any combination. The composition containing cedar nut oil as the oily base includes a functional component represented by cedar sap in an amount of 0.1 - 5.0 wt % or more than 12.5 but up to 15.0 wt % inclusive.
EFFECT: invention allows to produce a new food additive with enhanced biologically activity due to enhancement and optimisation of the content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, sterines and terpenes as well as due to the resorptive properties of terpenes with regard to the biologically active composition components.
