FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biomedicine and cell technologies and ma be used for processing porous polymer materials. Proposed method consists in subjecting material to plasma discharge in polymer material volume in gas atmosphere at barometric pressure. Said polymer material is placed among electrodes. Electric filed is induced in said material with intensity lower than breakdown intensity in gas with preset molecular at barometric pressure and, simultaneously, material is subjected to pulse-frequency electron beam with energy of 1-5 MeV. Material porosity should exceed 80%. Used are gases not interacting with polymer material at normal conditions. Processing temperature may not exceed polymer softening point. Electron beam pulse duration makes 1-10 mcs, beam pulse current makes 0.01-0.3 A, beam pulse current density makes 0.01-0.3 A/cm2, pulse repetition rate makes 1-100 Hz, while complete radiation dose on polymer material from electron beam may not exceed 20 kGy.
