FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves transportation of exit gases through outlet cooled gas duct, cleaning of exit gases from duct in bag filters, creation of negative pressure for gas suction with an induced-draft fan. Counter-flow oxygen jet is supplied towards exit gas flow in outlet cooled gas duct through a nozzle. At that, oxygen jet concurrent with exit gas flow is supplied through the second nozzle to the above gas duct at the same flow rate as through the first nozzle. Total flow rate of oxygen through both nozzles is 50 % of volumetric flow rate of carbon oxide contained in exit gases in gas duct. Acoustic field from acoustic gas emitter is superimposed on both oxygen flows at frequency of 100-4000 Hz. At that, oxygen pressure before nozzles is 1.2-0.5 MPa.
EFFECT: reduction of emission of hazardous substances and load on filtering devices; reduction of power of induced-draft fans and capital costs.
