FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dressing of quartz particles sized to 0.75-0.03 mm and may be used for dressing granular materials. Proposed method comprises magnetic separation intended for extraction of nonmagnetic fraction and plasma treatment of said fraction. Said nonmagnetic fraction is processed by khladon nonequilibrium low-temperature plasma generated in average vacuum by hybrid high-frequency inductive and high-frequency capacitive charges at continuous vibration of quartz particles with frequency of 0.3-3.6 kHz.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, reduced power consumption.
