FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a strip of strong water-resistant fabric. The strip is fixed to a roof edge and is arranged on its section or along perimetre to form a closed circuit. The outer edge of the strip freely hangs against the wall. The outer edge of the strip at sections with higher risk of icicles formation is equipped with a system of thin sections of a steel ferromagnetic wire that are freely hung at their one end. Wire sections form a movable comb. Near the roof and parallel to it there is a rigid insulated wire fixed on the wall section to form a loop or along the whole building contour. Wire ends are lowered down along the building wall and are connected to terminals to connect an electric signal source. Wire sections arranged directly in zone of movable comb are wound into spirals.
EFFECT: reduced power inputs and simplified design.
