FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: particle has nucleus containing one or several metals in form of simple substances or alloy including one or several metals and shell containing oxide of one or several metals of nucleus. Also, the particle has the degree of oxidation determined as percent ratio of weight of oxygen to general weight of a particle from 10 to 40 %. Procedure for production of particles consists in heating metal containing particles in a flame created with mixture of oxygen and fuel component containing at least one combustible gas chosen from hydrogen and hydrocarbons facilitating metal oxidising at least in external shell of particles, in cooling oxidised particles by supplying them into fluid or in sublimated solid medium, and in collection of cooled oxidised particles ensuring distance between particles inlet into flame and place of particles collection at least 300 mm.
EFFECT: improved semi-conducting properties, expanded process application of particles.
