FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method for making a supragingival support consists in the fact that abutment crown teeth are prepared, and a working reproduction of jaw is made of plaster. A seat of the supragingival prosthesis support is marked on the reproduction. The supragingival support with a supragingival surface congruous to a surface of an alveolar process in the marking point is made. A wax reproduction of the support is scanned. Then the support is milled either of titanium, or of zirconium dioxide on a digitally program controlled machine. The supragingival prosthesis support comprises a crown with a permanently jointed shaped detail incorporating a supragingival prosthesis of adjustable pressing strength to a coupled mucosal surface of the alveolar process. The vertical section of the shaped detail represents two cups with the same bottom. One cup faces a supragingival surfaces, and the other one - an occlusal surface. The bottom is threaded for an adjusting screw driven in from the occlusal surface. The supragingival support is inserted into the cup and crank-fixed by a lock bolt. In an initial state, the supragingival support with its side facing the occlusal surface is tightly pressed to the cup bottom.
EFFECT: lower number of contra-indications to application, higher physiological characteristic and reliability.
