FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a body and electrodes with holes, which are connected to a source of high DC voltage in pairs: two adjacent electrodes are connected with a positive terminal of a power source, another two - with a negative terminal, and so on till the last electrode. The first pair of electrodes, counting from the input into the electric cleaner, is connected to the positive terminal of the power source. Between unipolar electrodes there are circular gaskets arranged from any material to form a required gap between them. Between heteropolar pairs of electrodes there are circular gaskets from a dielectric material to prevent an electrical breakthrough. Each electrode comprises one hole arranged near the edge, besides, during assembly, electrodes are arranged so that holes in adjacent electrodes are diametrically opposite.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of mechanical particles deposition onto negative electrodes due to increased quantity of ions generated from mechanical particles of contaminants.
