FIELD: electric power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric power industry, namely to linear spiral clamps intended for connecting wires of overhead power lines. The connecting clamp, designed to connect two wires 1 and 2 of the same cross section, contains a connector 5 for the cores of the wires to be connected, formed by glued strands of spirals, at least one set of spirals of conductive lay 3 wound over the connector, and a set of power spirals of the protector-lock 6 wound on a conductive layer. The power spirals of the protector-retainer 6 outside the conductive layer 3 are wound with a transition directly to the connected wires 1, 2, while the section of the power spirals of the protector-retainer 6 is wound over the conductive layer 3, and the sections of the power spirals of the protector-retainer 6 are wound directly on connected wires 1, 2 are made with different diameters.
EFFECT: reducing the material consumption of the clamp and reducing its weight while maintaining reliability during operation.
