FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: method for production of alcohol-water mixture involves mixing a water component in the form of ice and an alcohol component in a liquid and/or vapour phase. Mixing is performed in two stages; at the first stage mixing is performed by way of passing alcohol in a liquid and/or vapour phase through a column for ice to obtain a water-alcohol mixture as a result of ice dissolution and subsequent mixing of this mixture with alcohol in a liquid and/or vapour phase so that to enable the mixture temperature adjustment. At the second stage the produced mixture recirculation is performed through the column for ice with the mixture recirculation combined with its subsequent mixing with alcohol and the mixture temperature adjustment. Recirculation is performed till required proof and temperature of the alcohol-water mixture are achieved. For vodka preparation introduction of recipe ingredients into the produced alcohol-water mixture is combined with stirring the mixture being produced. The produced mixture filtration is performed through a coal core or through a coal core and a combined filter. Prior to filtration one performs the mixture preliminary magnetisation. For the alcohol-water mixture and vodka preparation one may use a water component in the form of natural origin ice.

EFFECT: enhancement of the composition uniformity and proof throughout the volume, of organoleptic properties of vodka and an alcohol-water mixture, possibility of additional alcohol purification in the process of mixing.
