FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: installation consists of fixed reservoir for direct melting with liquid bath, of unit for supply of solid particles including metal containing source material and carbon containing material from place of location of source of solid source materials positioned at distance from reservoir. The installation also contains the unit for supply of oxygen containing gas from the place of location of the oxygen containing gas source at a distance from the reservoir. Also, the unit for supply of oxygen containing gas includes a unit for gas blow-in consisting of multitude of pipes for introduction of oxygen containing gas passing through orifices in the reservoir, and a unit of gas delivery channels passing from the place of gas source location at a distance from the reservoir. The unit of gas delivery channels is designed for delivery of oxygen containing gas to the unit of gas blow-in. The unit of gas delivery channels has one main of gas delivery positioned above lower half of the reservoir connected with pipes for gas blow-in.
