SUBSTANCE: device for protection from short pulses with hazardous high voltage in transmission lines connected to protected circuits of various equipment sensitive to noise, consisting of three parallel conductors in dielectric filling, the first and second of which at one end of the device are electrically connected to a pulsed signal source circuit, and at the other end - to the protected circuit, characterised by that the device includes two resistors electrically connected to the second and third conductors at both ends of the device, and the shape and arrangement of conductors and insulators in the cross section of the device, relative permittivity of the insulators and length of the conductors of the device are selected such that the difference in complete delay of the even and odd modes excited by a pulsed signal is greater than its duration, and the first and second conductors are selected such that the pulsed signal at the end of the device is broken down into two pulses with smaller amplitude.

EFFECT: protection from pulses whose duration is shorter than the difference between not linear pulses but complete delay of even and odd modes.
