FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio electronics and can be used for protection of radioelectronic equipment against ultrashort pulses. In the device from the conducting plate, on which the substrate is located in parallel, on which the rectangular cross-section conductor is located parallel to it, there are two cutouts which are parallel and equal in length to the conductor, device includes two resistors connecting ends of conductor formed in conductive plate between two cutouts with conductive plate, wherein the value of the line length, multiplied by the difference between the maximum line delay of the line modes and the largest of the others, is not less than the sum of the front durations, flat peak and decay of ultrashort pulse supplied between conductor and conducting plate, selection of parameters of resistors depends on their cross-section and distance between conductors, as well as relative dielectric permeability, which provide for minimization of signal amplitude at output. Technical result is achieved due to decomposition of ultrashort pulse into pulses of lower amplitude.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of protection from ultrashort pulse.
