FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: optoelectronic generator of microwave signals has an optical unit and a radio unit. The radio unit includes series-connected electrical preamplifier, bandpass filter, power amplifier and power divider. The optical element includes a laser radiation generating unit which is connected to a photodetector module through an optical channel with a delay element. The output of the photodetector module is connected to the input of the electrical preamplifier of the radio unit. In the optical unit, the laser radiation generating unit is made in form of a pair of laser emitters connected via optical injection synchronisation. The optical channel with a delay element is in form of integrated channel or photonic crystal waveguides.

EFFECT: possibility of monolithic integrated design of the optoelectronic generator, simpler requirements for amplification coefficient of the radio unit, broader functionalities.
