FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method relates to experimental and clinical medicine, gastroenterology. In experimental animals measurement of greater omentum impedance is carried out in three points. Points of impedance measurement are located in distal part of greater omentum, its middle part and near greater curvature of stomach. Average value (Zav) of obtained parameters is calculated. Coefficient K, equal to ratio of average value of greater omentum impedance (Zav) to value of impedance, obtained during impedansometry of sodium chloride isotonic solution (Z°) with the same electrodes, is calculated. Conclusion about presence of inflammatory-destructive process in abdominal cavity is made by value of coefficient K.
EFFECT: method is simple, objective, and makes it possible to reliably diagnose presence of acute inflammatory-destructive process in abdominal cavity, including early terms of its development.
