FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: method employs an adaptive strategy of inspecting random-access memory (RAM) taking into account additional conditions for performing operations of inspecting RAM of an on-board digital computer, obtained as a result of a full-scale experiment for testing IC chips of static RAM under cosmic space conditions.
EFFECT: high efficiency of a backup on-board digital computer of low-orbiting spacecraft, operating on a sun-synchronous orbit owing to lower time expenses on inspecting and restoring RAM of an on-board digital computer in case of intermittent failure of memory cells in the RAM.
