FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to ultrasonic diagnostics, and is intended to determine efficiency of pharmacotherapy of retina venoocclusive disease. Colour Doppler imaging is performed with blood flow visualisation in eye artery and determination of maximum systolic blood flow rate before treatment and during vasodilator treatment. Eye hemodynamic reserve index (EHRI) is determined as ratio of maximum systolic blood flow rate in eye artery with vasodilator applied to the same initial parameter before treatment. With EHRI of 1.5 or more, eye hemodynamic reserve is assessed as positive, and further pharmacotherapy is considered viable. With EHRI under 1.5, eye hemodynamic reserve is assessed as negative, and corrections in pharmacotherapy are considered necessary.
EFFECT: possible determination of reserve capacities of blood supply in an eye with retina venoocclusive disease and viability of pharmacotherapy of retina vein thrombosis.
