FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation in fluid-fluid and gas-fluid systems by sorption, extraction and chromatography, and may be used in chemistry, microbiology, etc. Proposed apparatus consists of working chamber 1 that may be deflected from horizontal position for 30°, and dispenser 3 for discrete feed of one of phases as separate portions. Said chamber comprises transverse webs 4 to form a line of connected mass exchange cells 2 wherein phase interface may be formed. Said webs are provided with curved channels 5 to communicate one cell fluid above said interface with another cell fluid below said interface. Z-like channels make said curved channels. Dispenser 3 incorporates phase feed rate, frequency and volume regulators 8, 6 and 7, respectively.
EFFECT: simple design and higher efficiency.
