FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to making steel axially symmetric welded structures. Process beads are made at points of mounted element welding points, their thickness and width being equal to tubular structure thickness, as well as process holes. Tubular structure represents thin-wall different-thickness ring. Thrusts for mounted elements are made in ring tapers by machining. First, protective coat is applied on ring section to receive left end flange with undercut. Then, preassembly is performed using berth with roller support. Two central mounted elements are fitted against the stop on ring ends. End flanges are fitted in place. Assembled structure is secured on welding appliance and end flanges are pressed. Left end flange is gripped. Then, assembly is performed from left to right in positioning every next element relative to previous one using appliances and process holes with gripping every element. After accurate positioning, automatic welding is performed in atmosphere of protective gases to proceed to pneumatic tests.

EFFECT: sufficient strength, accurate spatial positioning and better manufacturability.
