FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of axially symmetric welded structures from aluminium alloys operated under pressure. Ring is made by rotational drawing. Outer and inner supports made up of welded pads with shape of edges selected proceeding from interrelation of thickness of welded parts are formed in disk-like bases, flange and tubular central element by machining. Parts to be welded together are assembled to make lock joints. First, parts of tubular central element front (TCE) are welded together and annular seams are subjected to tightness tests. Then, rear disk-like base is welded to TCE rear to be welded to TCE front. Intermediate machining is carried out. Aforesaid ring is welded to disk-like bases. Now, front disk-like base is welded to TCE flange and annular welded seams are finished and tested for tightness. Welding is performed by nonconsumable electrode in two passes with feeding filler wire in second pass. Current is set to 45-47 A per 1 mm wall thickness at welding rate of 10-12 m/h and voltage of 140-180 V.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of sizes, better quality of welded joints, sufficient strength and tightness.
