FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water electrochemical activation plant. Proposed plant comprises diaphragm electrolyser with vertical cylinder and rod electrodes with tubular diaphragm from elastic material arranged there between, made up of non-woven fabric consisting of 70% of polypropylene and 30% of polyester and secured on metal screen frame. Some frame cells are jointed together by contact welding at regular points on frame surface. Note here that frame end faces are secured in electrical insulating rings that allows producing thin-wall bearing grid that may resist three types of load: twisting, expansion and contraction. Note also that variable-section rod electrode with its center located between electrical-insulating rings allows reducing clearance between rod electrode and porous diaphragm.
EFFECT: lower power consumption.
