FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: measurement device contains dielectric insulator; sensor in the form of several coils of optical fibre in non-magnetic protective cover, which grasp phase current lead and form head for optical current transformer; optoelectronic unit connected to sensor and formed by electromagnetic wave source in optical band (e.g. laser); the latter is connected with input of modulator while its output is connected to sensor input and the first input of phase detector; signal from sensor output is sent to the second input while output of phase detector is connected to ADC input; conductive case is made in the form of faraday cage, included into splitting of phase current lead and installed at dielectric insulator. Phase current lead serves as primary coil of transformer and secondary coils are connected to input of power supply unit of current measurement device; measurement module is made in the dorm of digital data processing unit, transmitter-receiver with antenna. From modulator output part of signal is sent to sensor input and is distributed along its optical fibre up to sensor output.
