FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: pile with increased resistance to swelling, used in heaving soils and representing a lengthy body in the form of a steel pipe submerged to the depth below the active layer of the heaving soil. The steel pipe diameter at the section of the pile height submerged to the depth below the active layer of the heaving soil is equal at least 219 mm and is made as more than this pipe diameter in the section of the pipe height submerged to the depth of the active layer of the heaving soil and equal to at least 159 mm, and the expanded tip is made with a helical anchor.
EFFECT: simplified design, reduced weight of a pile, less embedding into soil to reduce scope of civil works, reduced cost of foundations erection under conditions of heaving soils.
