REMOVAL OF EXCESSIVE POLYMER RING AT EYE LENS PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC B29D11/00

Abstract RU 2441757 C2

FIELD: medical industry.

SUBSTANCE: this invention covers the forms for eye lens modelling. A processing unit of a form joint for an eye lens, where the joint form includes the first and the second form portion, meanwhile each form portion has a surface for eye lens modelling and a flange surface, as well as a unit for static charge guidance which provides a possibility of potential difference generation between the flange surface of the first portion and the second form portion. Modelling method of an eye lens includes the followings stages: modelling of multiple form joints, generation of a potential difference between the flange surface of the first portion and the second form portion sets, application of a reaction mixture dose to the first form portion, connection of the second form portion with the first form portion, exposure of the reaction mix to actinic radiation, thus modelling an eye lens, then disconnection of the second form portion from the first form portion, automatic inspection of the multiple modelled eye lens and the first form portions for excessive polymer ring defects detection, and detection of the least defects quantity compared to a threshold of an excessive polymer ring defects in the multiple modelled eye lens.

EFFECT: decrease of excessive polymer ring defects and production costs, increase in productivity, process automation.
