FIELD: forestry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the forestry industry and can be applied to fire fighting in extended afield areas of composite topography; the method includes the determination of the most fire hazardous areas, allocation of the vertical wells on the areas, mounting of the perforated pipes placed into waterproof thermoplastic cover with smoke-forming pyrotechnic composition into the wells; the wells are drilled to the ground waters horizon and the additional casing pipes with the diameter less than the diameter of the perforated pipes are installed as to secure the possibility of running the well-pipes through the wells which in case of fire are connected to the independent power supply units by means of automatic devices and supply water to the branched quick-assembled pipeline system.
EFFECT: enhancement of the technological capabilities and efficiency of the firefighting methods applied to firefighting in forest and peat areas.
