FIELD: engineering.
SUBSTANCE: the invention relates to technology of applying high-velocity gas-flame sprayed coatings. Method for preparation of raw piece surface using ultrasonic oscillations includes lathing of the piece: the piece is inserted into the lathe chuck, the plastic deformation of the piece is carried out by the ultrasonic tool fixed in the lathe carriage and oscillating with the frequency ranging between 15 and 24 kHz, and the repetitive nanorelief is formed on the surface of the piece with the rotation rate of 60 to 200 rpm and variable feeding of the untrasonic tool with the feeding rate of 0,05 mm/revolution to 0,25 mm/revolution.
EFFECT: high activation of the piece surface before spraying, reduced the change in mechanical properties of the product on the boundary between the coating and the base.
