FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition containing triglycerides, a method of obtaining said composition and use thereof as coating fat. The triglyceride part of the composition contains: SSS in amount of 10-20%, SUS in amount of 45-65%, SSU in amount of 10-18%, SU2 in amount of less than 15% and SU2 in amount of over 70%. The value of the weight ratio SUS:SSU ranges from 3:1 to 6:1. S is a saturated fatty acid residue having 12-24 carbon atoms. U is an unsaturated fatty acid residue having 12-24 carbon atoms. All percentages are given with respect to total weight of triglycerides in the composition.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain compositions which can be economically beneficial in manufacturing and have low or very low content of trans-isomeric fatty acids, and coatings containing said compositions have good organoleptic properties.
