FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to casting. Proposed method comprises processing and injection of gelling agent into granular material pseudo liquid layer. Gelling agent is prepared in the form of suspension from water solution of carboxymethylcellulose and periclase powder. Processing consists in acting on suspension by ultrasound with intensity of 5-15 W/cm2. Gelling agent is injected into granular material pseudo liquid layer at specific rate of (0.4-1.5)x10-6 kg/s per 1 m2 of particle surface.
EFFECT: uniform cladding of granular material of gelling agent, removal of air bubbles from cladding layer, higher strength of ceramic moulds and cores.
