FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: alloys contain the following components, in wt %: carbon - 0.5 to 2.0; chromium - 1.0 to 7.0; tungsten equivalent defined by formula 2Mo+W, - 7.0 to 12.0; niobium - 0.5 to 3.5; vanadium - 0.5 to 3.5, niobium may be partially or completely substituted vanadium at the ratio of Nb:V=2:1; cobalt - less than 10, silicon - 0.1 to 3.0; aluminium - 0.04 to 3.0; manganese - 0.5; phosphorus - 0.04; sulfur - 0.005; nitrogen - less than 0.03; cerium or other rare earth metals, or actinides, or Hf, Rf, La, Ac - 0.005 to 0.2; the rest consists of, in fact Fe and other inevitable impurities.
EFFECT: higher hardness and wear resistance.
