FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: device to remove icicles from building roofs comprises a generator of pulse currents connected to an inductor with a metal plate arranged oppositely to it, installed on a bracket attached to a building wall. The inductor with the plate are installed in close proximity from icicles. The bracket is made with a canopy hanging over the inductor, to which the upper edge of the metal plate is attached with the help of a hinged joint.
EFFECT: reduced material intensity of the device and its higher operational reliability.
